SYSTEM OVERVIEW

Horizon Security intrusion systems have enjoyed an industry-leading reputation for reliability, flexibility and innovation for more than 30 years. Horizon offers a broad range of intrusion systems like Bosch, Honeywell, and DSC product lines ranging from the Bosch 2000 and 6000 Series, to the expandable 9000 Series, and Honeywell Vista panels, a fully integrated fire, intrusion and access control system. Our systems can be programmed locally or remotely. Using Remote Programming Software (RPS), we can program and trouble shoot our intrusion systems off-site from a PC. 

Horizon Security offers hardwire, wireless and combination systems, as well as a range of alternate communication options including PSTN, GSMi Internet communication, GSM Cellular, and GSMHS high security systems.

APPLICATIONS

The flexibility of Horizon Security product range provides solutions for all kinds of security applications; large or small, single or multi-building, commercial or residential. For residential applications, Horizon provides a high level of electronic monitoring and reporting for a single-dwelling or multi-dwelling homes. For commercial or government sites, Horizon offers systems suitable for single structures to multi-building sites. Hardwire or wireless technology options allow economical installation in all applications. The alternate communication options allow system communications for almost any location.

ALREADY HAVE A SYSTEM?

All you have to do is reactivate it.  In most cases, we can reconnect you within 24 hours.  Whether you have a Horizon Security System or another brand, we can help you activate monitoring.  Here's how:  If you currently have one of our systems and it is in good conditions, we can communicate with the system's control panel right from our office.  This means you can start protecting your home immediately.   Just call our sales department so we can set up an appointment for a visit to complete the paper work.  ($50.00 activation fee required).  You can also add protection or upgrade your existing system.

PRODUCT PLATFORMS

The latest generation products from Bosch are based on different product platforms:

The "2000 Series"
This platform includes our entry-level and mid-market product line, and our current offerings in this platform includes the D2212.
The "6000 Series"
This platform is our mid-market product line offering, you can monitor up to 40 points of detection, enter multiple users with individual pass codes, and assign programmable authority levels to restrict system access. This platform includes the 4412 and 6412 control communicator.
The "9000 Series"
This platform is our high-end product offering with the mid-range 7212GV3, 7412GV3 and the larger 9412GV3. This platform provides Bosch integrated fire, burglary and access control systems.

ALTERNATE PATH OF COMMUNICATIONS WITH OUR CENTRAL STATION

  • GSM reporting from Contact ID control panels to any PSTN receiver
  • Easy provisioning using SMS (text) or USB.

The ITS-DX4020-G enables two-way IP or dialed communications over a commercial GPRS/GSM network. Typical applications are event reporting to a central monitoring station and remote access to Bosch intrusion control panels. As with all Conettix products, the ITS-DX4020-G supports secure, supervised IP communication.

AlarmNet Transport Services

GSMi, GSM, AND GSMHS HIGH SECURITY consists of three technologies;

 

  • Internet Communicator GSMi
    The 7845GSMi Internet Communicator was developed to take advantage of the growing use of the Internet and LAN wiring within companies to transport alarm signals. The easy-to-install 7845GSMi provides sophisticated data security and communicates with our central stations through AlarmNet’s Network Control Center. The revolutionary technology provides an affordable and secure internet monitoring solution.

    All signals are delivered to the AlarmNet Control Center, which routes the information to our central station. The AlarmNet Control Center is fully redundant and monitored 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

GSM Communication

Horizon Security Systems is focused on providing the future of alarm communication solutions for the security industry. Alternative communication methods are critical in the marketplace due to VoIP, migration from POTS, and growth of digital radio networks.

The 7845GSM delivers secure, reliable and complementary digital communications via the GSM (Global System for Mobile) network. The exclusive use of dual-path GPRS service with SMS backup provides substantial benefits to protect your home or business.  This ground-breaking communications solution offers full data reporting and uploading/downloading with most control panels. Plus, with zone inputs, is compatible with other manufacturers’ control panels as well.

GSMHS High Security Communication

The 7845GSMHS delivers secure supervised UL approved High Security communications.  This technology is use for commercial grade AA security installations and in many cases is required by insurance companies.
